1998 GMC C2500 Engine Idle Rough

The engine on my GMC 2500 is idling rough when I put it into drive, but once i get to about 2000-2500 rpms it quits and it drives fine. What would be causing this.

you may have a vacuum leak, make sure you check all of your vacuum lines, and be careful they are very fragile, because in 2000 to 2500 rpm, the engine is producing minimal vacuum, that might be a problem
