Am trying to remove fuel tank for pump replacement. Cannot seem to get syphon hose into tank far enough to reach fuel. I, m wondering if there is any way to get to the fuel pump without removing the tank?

I am sorry to inform you that there is an anti-siphon inside your tank neck, you will not be able to siphon it, the only way to do it is get a floor Jack, , because the fuel tank will be very heavy, undo the straps and lowered the tank until you can remove the pump, then siphon the fuel out, then remove the tank from underneath the truck. I have had lots of showers with fuel. So get ready.
