89 gmc rear main seal on a 350[5.7] is this a split ring seal or an O ring seal ? I have changed split ring seals on older old school, but not the newer old school thanks for the help

The rear main seal on a 1989 GMC 5.7 is a one piece seal, it will require a special tool to install it, unless you are experienced and very careful.
