My buddy has a generic obd reader he uses on all his chevys (4 of them) and works fine. We tried to pull the codes on my 01' GMC Sierra and nothing happens. It won't even attempt to load any advice as to why this may be occuring??

Thanks

I don't have the info in front of me but I think it's on the same circuit as the cigar lighter.

Thanks for your help paul i really appreciate it...i think you're right because that fuse was blown. I just need to throw the reader back on it and test it out.
