Barking brake flashing

I have a 1990 GMC K1500 extended cab 4x4 with a 5.7 litre. My question is that my parking brake light started flashing. It will flash 10 times then pause then start all over. I did a complete brake job on it about 3 months ago includiing wheel cyllinders on the rear. The brake llight was stuck on for a couple of weeks, I figured it was the switch but did not have time to check it out. Then today it started flashing.
Any ideas.

Well I had the same problem with my truck and it ended up to be a broken E-brake cable pin. I had to reset the light at one point by disconnecting the positive battery cable for atleast 1 minute and then putting it back on. That just resets your entire vehicle's computer. Hope that helps:D
