2007 GMC C1500 Transmission Fluid Leak or Oil Pump Leak

Hi,

Iv had my vehicle a shop the other day and they told me that my transmission was leaking fluid. (Red in color) I brought it to the dealer where I bought the truck to get it fixed and they told me that it was my oil pump leaking. Could this be or would you defininetly know if it was one or the other by looking at the underneath.

If its the front seal/oil pump the leak will be between the transmission and the engine
