2002 GMC C1500 engine starts but wont run

Engine Performance problem
2002 GMC C1500 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

4.3 litre V6, engine starts but runs rough, runs approximatlely 1 to 2 minutes then shuts down. It will run longer and smoother when the TPS sensor is unplugged after engine starts. Fuel pressure is good, seems to be some kind of a sensor problem. Any help would be appreciated.
