I was wondering my truck gets very hot when pulling hills only with or without a trailer. I notice the secondary fan does not always click on when it gets above half. I have checked the coolant and replaced the thermostate but it still is doing it. Not sure what to do?

Have you checked the fan that isn't working by running power directly to it? Also, have you had the radiator flushed?
