1999 GMC C1500 wont crank

I have a 1999 Gmc pickup it has a 4.3 vortec in it and i just replaced the fuel pump and it wont start the fuel pump is pumping fuel but the truck acts as it jumped time i pulled the timing cover off and it hasnt jumped time it will crank some times but will die it sucks and blows air where could this problem be could it be a crankshaft sensor

First thing to do here is verify if you're getting spark and the correct fuel pressure and fuel injection pulses this is where we start

i had a fuel pressure check on the fuel pump its reading 60 psi like it should and i am getting fire from my coil package

You got fuel and spark-verify the valve and ignition timing if okay test out the CPS
