A qick getaway is not a sure thing resently. I changed the gas filter and the next day it did it again. If the fuel pump is faulty how can it be checked. Or is this a computor glich. HELP

This particular truck is one of the few that have fuelpump/harness problems. The harness is screwed up about 12" from the fuel pump. If you get a Delco fuel pump I think it includes the harness along with it. Just a tip here on this, get a few buddies an dpull your box off instead of dropping the tank. It makes this job much easier. There are 8 bolts that hold the box on and a coupl eof wires to disconnect at the back.
