Recently on a cold morning I went out and cranked my truck to go to work. Suddenly I heard a pop and heard liquid spraying on the ground, I immediatly shut the truck off and looked underneath and oil was spraying out between the filter and the adapter for the oil cooler tubes. The force was so great that it pushed the oil filter gasket out from the crack between the filter and adapter. Is the problem with the pressure valve in the oil pump? Can It be fixed or do I need a new oil pump?

That color change due to air in the oil and may do that if compressed air have water in it
check cooler line if collapsed
do you have good pressure on your gauge
