1997 GMC C1500 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ISO-HEET, HEET AND THE ALCOHOL ADDED TO GAS BY THE GAS MANUFACTURES? A FRIEND SAID IN STATES (MN, WI) THAT ADD ETHANOL TO THE FUEL GAS LINE DEICER IS NOT NEEDED.

Your friend is correct. Gas companies put additives in the gas to prevent ice build up already..Unless you live where steel cracks when it gets cold. (which is at either of the earths poles). There is no reason to put gas line de-icers in the fuel...UNLESS you have a desiel...
