My A/C does not cool under certain conditions.
When driving or idling over a period of time the A/C will stop cooling blowing only warm air. If I put the truck in neutral and rev the engine I can hear the compressor magnetic clutch engage and cooling will start again for 4 or 5 minutes.
I changed the battery as it was marginal. The problem did not go away. The compressor was changed about 1.4 years ago
