1986 GMC C1500 Door won't open from the outside

How do I take the inside of the driverside door panel off? The door won't open from the ourside. The inside handle just flops.

You will have to remove the screws in the armrest, and also the screw behind they hidden cap behind the mirror, use a big screwdriver to unclip the panel from the door.
