loss of power and the glow plug light comes on

glow plug light comes on dash and loss of power over 70 mph. then goes off after a restart then back on after reaching 70 mph.

Sounds as if there is a fault in the glow system and the car may be going into a limp mode, start with a scan for codes and let me know what you find there.
