My car is not idling very smoothly, and it is cluttering when you give it gas. You can give it more gas and it will stop the cluttering. Would the exhaust recirculation metering office restriction cause it to clutter when you give it gas, and would that cause it to idle rough?

Yes, it sure will and that is the first place ai would look, but the 2003 Hyundai Accent with the 1.6L 4-cylinder engine does not have an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve.

P1402 - EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) System - Excessive Flow
P0650 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Control Circuit Malfunction
P0713 - Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Circuit High Input

So, I have to ask you to clear the codes and drive the car again for a few miles and then run the codes in case there is a glitch in the system causing this code. Has the ECM been changed? Please let me know what happens.
