Gets very hot on initial warmup?

The temperature gauge goes to red on initial startup. Then moves close to 210-230. The engine is new, and all related components are new. Changed thermostat several times, gauge, clutch fan, and both temperature sensors. Old engine ran 160ish with leaking head gaskets.

So, it is easy to get the incorrect water pump on these engines which will try to move the coolant in the wrong direction. The serpentine belt routing is important as well. Here is how the belt should go, also if you have the radiator cap on does the cooling system build pressure immediately? Please go over this guide as well:
