problems with starting the vehicle

My car has a weak start. I need to hit the gas pedal about five times or else it stalls. Could it be the fuel pump, EGR valve, fuel regulator? it has new fuel filter ,spark plugs, distributor cap and wires.

It sounds like you could have a air intake tube that is torn, here is a guide that will help you.
