1998 Geo Tracker 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive 178000 miles

How do you turn off the "Check Engine Light?"
It comes on sometimes and then stays on for two or three weeks then goes off. I would like to know how to reset it so it will stay off.

hi you have to find out what code it has and replace that sensor and it will stay off
