Where is the starter located and how do you replace it.

On the 1ZZFE engine (VVTi) it is on the front of the engine, under intake. Two bolts hold it in place, and two electrical connections.

REMOVE THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE BEFORE BEGINNING.
