I found a leak of water coming from the body of the engine not the gasket it is circle in the middle of the back of the engine

That would be a freeze plug or also known a s a soft plug or also an expansion plug. Onece you remove it, there are metal or adjustable rubber ones that can be re-inserted. Do not put this off!
