Car started to overheat. Temp gauge inside of car never went over midpoint. Water in overflow bottle was bubbling.
Flushed coolant, then replaced thermostat and radiator. Still overheating within 3 mile distance.

Check to make sure cooling fan is working.
When engine is at temp. Use glove and feel if water is moving through thermostat hose.
Perform a compression test to rule out a bad head gasket.
