1995 Geo Prizm no heat

when my car is warmed up and the temp gauge is in the normal zone. i turn the heat knob to hot and the other knob to defrosters then turn the fan on and it blows air but not hot air and the car is not overheating. it just wont blow heat. i cycle the heat to cold knob back and forth but still know heat just cold air and the a/c button is not on.

With engine at temp, quickly touch heater core hoses, (they are hot). If one is hot and one is cold, then heater core is blocked.

If both are hot, then the heater control valve may be bad.
