LAST WEEK I PUT IN A NEW BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR DUE TO STARTING/CHARGING PROBLEMS. NOW IT APPEARS THAT MY CONNECTIONS TO THE STARTER OR SELONOID, OR WIRES, OR CABLES ETC. BEFORE I BUY THIS OR THAT HOW CAN I PERSONALLY CHECK, AND FIGURE OUT WHAT IS REALLY WRONG.

Remove starter and take to any autoparts store and have it bench tested.

Starter has main large wire from battery +, and small connector to solenoid, starter grounds to block, so make sure starter and block contact area are clean.
