Hello,

1- I intend to do a drain&refill on my car's A245A transmission. What is Toyota's OEM filter&gasket brand? What is the best filter&gasket for the car?


2- Which side of the valve cover grommets should face towards us and which side should face the engine?
I put the plastic/rubber looking sides facing me and the metal part facing/touching the engine. Is that the right way?

1. Toyota Genuine parts :) . But you can use any aftermarket brand.

2. Metal side faces hold down nuts.
