1993 Geo Prizm start after long parked

1993 Geo Prizm Automatic 85000 miles

This car has not been turned on for two years at least. I need to move it and would like to know if I can just put gas into it and start it with no problem, or if, as a neighbor of mine said, the fuel in it has undergone changes that could damage the car when I try to drive it. THanks for any opinions/advice!

Hi thee,

i would pull the spark plugs a nd add some oil, just a little and spin the engine over to get up oil pressure, the fuel will be stale but that is not a huge problem, just add some fuel system cleaner and whey you can top up the tank with premium fuel.
