I HAVE CHANGE MY ALTERNATOR RECTIFIER CHARGE THE BATTERY AND IT STILL SHOWS THE BATTERY LIGHT ON THE DASH BOARD AND IT KILLS THE BATTERY AND THIS IS THE SECOND ALTERNATOR FIX I HAVE DONE IN 2 WEEKS

Check and test the alternator S-fuse, the gauge and ignition fuses if all okay start testing the wires for shorts/opens-Try getting the alternator load tested
