my 93 prizm (corolla) stalled and died one morning going to work. I changed ecu,ign coil, distributor cap,map sensor, air intake sensor. before all this it wouldnt start now it will start only if i pull two plugs and dip them in gas. It will idle allday but when i go to accel it tries to die out unless i feather the gas peddle then it will catch up still sputtering now and then. All my research has lead me to fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump. I dont have a pressure guage but i did remove the fuel line going into the fuel rail and it seems to be getting really good incoming pressure, so i guess my question is do the (fpr) has pressure build up on the return..... thank you

Check the vacuum line to the FPR, if gas is present, then the FPR diaphram is ruptured and pressure is bleeding off.

But you are right, you have a fuel issue. You should also change fuel filter.
