1991 Geo Prizm 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 78,000 miles

Do I need to replace the coil inside the ditributor cap with 78,000 miles on my Prizim? I plan to tune this month and want everything working properly especially starting in the wintertime. Am I wasting my money or should I replace it?
