Ok, im pretty sure I need to change the air idle control valve. But when I went online to buy the part the picture of it doesnt look anything like what im looking at on my car. What im looking at is right beside the throttle body and has two hoses coming out. The one in the picture online looks like it should have four hoses coming out because it has four holes. Can someone help and tell me where the idle air control valve is on a 91 geo prizm and what it looks like.

It is right at the throttle plate but it has a plug not holes, what your talking about might be a vacuum componant. The iac has a little rounded point

The one that has two hoses coming out is called the Bi-Metal switching valve and vents to the cannister based on coolant temp.
