1990 Geo Prizm Gas Tank exchanged

Can I use a different year of gas tank to be replaced especially with this year and model since I can"t find a tank replacement and can't make the repair because of a hole in the tank. Like mabe a 1993 gas tank. It looks the same. Tell me what to do to get back on the road. Thanks!

90-92 tanks would be the same. 93 was a body change and engine was upgraded to 1.8 liter.
