1997 Geo Metro wont stay running

Replaced fuel pump,filter it ran fine for few days thenn started stalling out while on hwy then would start up. A day later wouldnt start sprayed starting fluid and it started and ran for little while. Now wont start without starting fluid and dies quickly after but not right away.

I had the same problem and it was the fuel injector wire harness. there was actually a recall on that part, but you cant find it anymore. i wiggled mine around until i got the correct ohm reading listed in the haynes manual. sounds like it could be the same problem. good luck
