My son was installing a battery in his car, but reversed the polarity of the cables. We checked all the fuses and found the main fuse to be blown. We replaced it, but it still will not turn over. What else should we be checking for?

Test all the fusible links and miniature fuses to include the power input main feed to the ignition switch.
