FRONT DISC BRAKE ROTOR
Removal
Raise and support vehicle, allowing suspension to hang freely. Remove wheel.
Unstake drive axle nut. Depress brake pedal to lock brake disc. Remove and discard drive axle nut. Remove hub/rotor retaining bolts.
Remove caliper bolts. Remove caliper and wire aside. Remove hub and outer spacer with slide hammer and Adapter (J-34866). Remove brake rotor.
Installation
Install brake rotor disc onto wheel hub. Apply a light coat of wheel bearing grease to outside of hub shaft. Using a press, install hub and spacer. Tighten hub/rotor bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS. Install NEW drive axle nut during assembly and stake in place. Tighten bolts to specification.
