1993 Geo Metro 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I got a techometer for Christmas and I am trying to install it but I dont know wich side of the coil is the + or - it only has to wires going into a plug on the coil and the coil is square not round which wire is the ground side

On the square coil models one wire should be black/white the other should be brown/white the ground side is the black/white wire. Sometimes they get hard to distinguish with color fade of the wires.
