I parked the car in the driveway. Yesterday, I started it, pressed the brake pedal (brake lights are working) and tried to put it into reverse. The button on the gear shift depresses but the gear shift will not move. Thinking maybe the shifter interlock but not sure of where it is or where the solenoid is. Help please.

The solenoid is behind the dash on the left side near the fuse panel. You should be able to feel it click as you step on the pedal.

If the turn signals do not work then check fuse number five (15A) in the fuse panel below the dash. It powers the interlock and the turn signals, so it is a quick check.
