Gear shift light is off

I was driving, then I notice the gear shift light is off. I drove to the house and parked the vehicle. After some minutes I tried to start it but no, it did not start. I start it through the kick it did not start. Please help.

Hello,

This is common when the gear range sensor goes out. Here is the location and how to fix it. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
