my van 1979 G 30 8 cl is in neutral and not move in drive or in park I bought in auction but tow truck drop my home first time I saw this van have problem may be the tow gay lock I want to put in drive or park please call me or email m y pH 347 969 6089

check fluid level first. It may have had a bad transmission to begin with when you purchased it.check to see if the the tras lever will move at transmission by disconnecting at trans and moving it to park. your explanation is not very good so i'm not sure what your problem is . It may be a linkage problem or the collar on steering wheel isn't moving when you try to shift it. You can do this with engine off btw. we don't make phone calls sorry.
