I have the cable detached from the gear shift and the linkage. I have the center console removed. It appears to be a very tight fit where the cable threads from the compartment to under the hood. Can the cable be pulled through or another part have to be removed?

Hi,

It cannot be pulled through without removing a few things. I attached the directions for removing and installing the cable below. It is somewhat involved and requires the carpet being cut to access a grommet that needs removed. Also, the directions indicate lowering the exhaust. Ugh!!! Anything to make it more difficult.

Take a look through the directions below and let us know if they help or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
