Gear selecting problems

So I have a Lancer Ralliart (SST Transmission) and it is difficult to get out and select the park gear. It would be hard to shift into park and would make a loud click sound when I did so.

Brake must be on of course to shift out of park. Check fuses inside and under hood of car then check to see if shift lock is the culprit. It may not be getting a signal so try putting voltage to it to test. Check fuses and relay in pictures shift solenoid is in console so if plate comes off will be easier to reach. Some cars have an access panel as well.
