After running 1 to 2 hours gear gets released. After that if I completely switch off the car and restart everything gets normal again. Checked all wiring and found no issues. One technician advised ECM problem. ECM part number is 37820-RAK-N51. Can anyone help me?

Hi,

Before I recommend replacing the ECM, I would need to know what has led the mechanic to that conclusion. Were any diagnostic trouble codes found when it was checked? If so, what are they?

Also, is the fluid clean and full? When the issue occurs, does it happen all at once or do you feel it slowly starting to not want to stay in gear?

On the other hand, if you plan to replace the ECM, check online for places that remanufacturer them. You want to find one that is plug and play. Otherwise, you will need to program one. Because of the model year, I don't suspect you will find a new one.

Let me know.
