Shifting to third gear the engine just revs without shifting?

Good day all, please i need help if anyone has experience similar issue i drive the car listed above and i recently notice my car will move smoothly on gear 1 and 2 but when it get to changing to gear 3 it just rev without shifting to 3. i took the car to gear mechanic and he scan it and said the gearbox back cover need to be change that those seals on the back cover has won out. I changed the back cover and the gear started working and change normally but still rev on change to 3 and also slipped
Please help auto guru in the house.

I have seen a bad turbine revolution sensor cause problems like this, here is the location of the sensor so you can swap it out if a code is stored for it. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response to the problem so we can see what's going on.
