Gauges problems

I have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and when I start up the vehicle sometime the lights won't come on neither do the gauges would move. Could this be the Body Control Module need to be replace or something ? How can this issue be repair ?

Hello,

It sounds like the cluster is going out but to be sure here is a guide to help you test for power and ground and the cluster wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works with a video of the cluster getting changed out for a rebuilt unit in a similar car.
