After replacing alternator gauges are not working

My alternator went bad, but before it did my gauges went nuts then my truck shut off. So I replace it and the gauges never went back to normal. I did the whole disconnect of battery and did the sweep gauge test and no luck. I do not know what else to do.

Thanks for the picture. This happens when the gauges get a voltage surge you may be able to take the cluster face off and move the needles back by hand and they will work or the cluster will need to be replaced.
