Speedometer not working and temp gauge starts to work then stopped, how do I fix this?

scan for codes to see if the speed sensor is messed up. check to see I power is going to sending unit. if it is for temp gauge ground thewire and see if gauge goes to hot if it does then sending unit may be bad. check fuses as well.
