Gauge temperature

My gauge does not work. I do not have employment or much money due to wrong things done to me in the beginning of my life problem starring in the USA 1967. I am asking a dumb question about an old vehicle that helps

Good morning,

It could be as simple as the sender unit that sends the signal to the gauge in the dash.
