About a month ago I had a situation where mid pump the nozzle sprayed everywhere and it wasn’t the first occurrence at this station and I was advised to “put the nozzle a little deeper into filler neck” as some pumps and stations have different fuel pumping speeds, and that it wouldn’t affect my filler neck or evap system ”. So for the first time since I pumped gas I noticed after pumping , a thud noise occurred and it stopped but when I pulled the nozzle out a tad, it resumed . Is this normal? Here’s a video .
