As I was driving, I tried to pass someone and all of a sudden, my pedal sank down to the floor without any power at all. I luckily coasted to a stopping point and realized the cable from the pedal was not returning to its normal state just leaving me with extra slack at my pedal. is this an easy fix and can anyone help me with where the other end is connected? obviously near the throttle body but need more instructions than what I'm finding anywhere online. thank you for your time and patience in advance.

Yep, it sounds like you snapped the throttle cable. I would get under the dash to see how it is set up and disconnect the cable. here is how the job is done while under the hood, and this tells you how to adjust the cable as well. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

Yes and a couple of Honda parts places price isn't bad until they charge you $60 to ship it lol... Could I possibly try one of those universal kind I think it's called Mr.Bracket, or something like that.

So I bought a Mr gasket bracket and universal throttle cable and there's no instructions where to install the bracket or how to install the bracket any suggestions and is it even a good idea or should I just order the OEM throttle cable? Thank you in advance.

I would order the OEM cable, the aftermarket unit can be a challenge because they are universal.
