Seems like my vehicle is using a lot of gas and the gas gauge is dropping rapidly?

It seems like I'm using a lot of gas. The gas gauge is dropping rapidly, could this be a fuel leak?

If you lift the hood, can you smell gas? I would use a flashlight and check the fuel injectors and then look under the vehicle to see if you can see gas leak stains coming from the fuel tank. Let me know if you can find anything. If not, I have seen the MAF sensor cause excessive fuel consumption, here is the location of the sensor so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
