In July my car said I had no gas but I knew it was full. Mechanic said both fuel pumps were failing.
Next day, check engine light goes on. Hose wasn’t calibrated correctly.
A month later gas gauge isn’t registering correctly again. One of the new fuel pumps failed. Probably damaged in shipping.
Gas gauge still isn’t right. The mechanic had it for over a week before deciding it is a float in the gas tank. Claiming $2600 in additional parts.
