Car said I had no gas but I knew it was full?

I’ve only paid for the original repair. I only asked about price because I assumed it was cheaper.

Are they trying not to give me any money back. could they have caused the extra damage?

YEs, the job they did may not be correct. I would take it to a different shop but tell them the story so they can check it out. Does the car have any codes? I would do a CAN scan to see which codes are stored, this will give us an idea of what the problem is. Please go over this video.

Thanks for the response. I’ve been fuming with all of the run around and issues over the past month after the botched first repair. I was pretty sure it was misdiagnosed and they were the cause of the later problems. Now to prove it and decide if I am filing more complaints.

Hopefully getting my car back Monday or Tuesday. It needs to sit 24 to 48 hours after the repairs they performed. I’m pretty sure there has been something going on there and I’m planning on asking for all of the diagnostic reports. When I asked for them from the first repair they told my they are archived, so we’ll see.

Yep, sorry about that, car repair can be a frustrating experience. Like my grandmother would say, this too shall pass. So hang in there and let me know what happens.
